YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Supporting you in practice
Registered members receive support as they develop their practice, including accredited supervision, continuing professional development guidance, professional resources and access to the practitioner directory.
Membership also connects you with the wider CSTA community through The Fulcrum, events and conferences, while helping you maintain the professional standards, insurance and first-aid requirements expected of registered practitioners.
Membership requirements
- An adequate level of professional indemnity insurance.
- Eight sessions of supervision during your first two years of membership.
- Twelve hours of continuing professional development activities each year.
- A current first aid qualification, e.g. Emergency First Aid at Work or Appointed Persons.
- Adherence to our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Annual membership fee
- Graduates - £165
- New Graduates* - £105
* Reduced fee for first year of membership when joining within 18 months of graduation date.
Almost everyone involved in the CSTA is a volunteer or near-volunteer, which enables us to keep subscriptions among the lowest for a professional body.
How to apply
We welcome membership applications from graduates of our accredited schools.
Applying is simple and can now be completed entirely online. Complete the application form with your details and any supporting information requested, then submit it directly to the CSTA for review.
